Mildura

Finally I can bring you all up to date. We left Dimboola and headed to Mildura. A stop at Hopetoun by their lovely Lake Lascelles for lunch, the pies and salad rolls from the bakery where great.?

We where off again but a short time later we started having issues with the Touareg. A warning light popped up and it went into limp mode not going past 60kmh. It took awhile to find a place to pull over and check the manual. Which basically said we had an engine problem?.

When we started again the light disappeared and the car was humming again. In the mean time Nina had booked it into Hutchinson’s Volkswagen in Mildura for a look over the next day. The warning light would pop on again half a dozen more time on the way there. A quick stop and start and it cleared itself up.

The next day we had it up at the service centre bright and early and by about midday they had determined the issue as a fuel filter. They said they would replace it then run some more tests to make sure everything was okay. When we hadn’t heard from them by 4:00pm we suspected there might be more issues. They called us back a short time later to confirm that they where still having issues, injectors suspected, and would need it another day. Being Friday we took the car back and will drop it back to them on Monday.

So Saturday with the car still not right we went to the Mildura market. It was a great market with all sorts to please everyone.

Mum particularly enjoyed the guy singing and playing the guitar.
